These waffles are a crowd-pleaser. They’re perfect for a group or a Sunday breakfast with the family. They have that fluffy texture you want in a waffle without the gluten.
I have made these waffles for my extended family for bunch and left out the fact they were gluten free and multiple family members stated these were the best waffles they have had.
Anytime I make a recipe, I try to make it taste like the real deal. No one likes the idea of something being gluten-free; people make a face, and they think it’s gross. Not all things gluten-free have to be gross or taste bland.
My family loves to add blueberries or chocolate chips when we make waffles. In the fall, we switch it up and add cinnamon and nutmeg to the batter. We chop up some apples and saute them in a pan with a little cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter until they are soft, then top this mixture on top of the waffle.
