Travel-size skin care has more benefits than just its size. It is cheaper and less wasteful than full-size bottles.
Mini-size skin care saves on waste! How often have you thrown out a product before it was empty to get the latest NEW product? After reading this post, mini-size products will be your new best friend, especially for travel. Not only will you save money, but you will get to try out so many brands that you might not have because you have been holding on to the full-size product.
Over the years, I have become better at packing lighter when traveling. One thing that has helped is ensuring I have travel-size skin care products. I like to be as minimalistic as possible. Still, I want to do my makeup on vacation, especially when you are taking pictures.
Travel-size makeup has come a long way, and I love the products they have developed to help me pack lighter while still feeling and looking fantastic.
Travel-size skincare products I use:
Sunscreen
Sunscreen is always a must, even when traveling in the winter. Your skin is your largest organ, and you want to protect it. Nowadays, we are constantly on our phones, which can also harm our skin with blue light exposure. Protect your skin and wear sunscreen all year long.
The Supergoop! Play Everyday SPF 50 is light and not greasy, making it easy to wear. The convenient size makes it easy to through in you rpurse for the day if you are traveling by foot and not at the beach or lounging around.
Another go-to favorite sunscreen is the Tula daily SPF 30. I love this one, especially on days when I prefer to wear less makeup. It leaves the skin with a lovely shimmer and dewy look.
Dry Shampoo
Hair sometimes needs a pick-me-up with all the travel and walking when on vacation. This dry shampoo is perfect and smells great. It comes in light and dark tones and is suitable for all hair types.
Leave in Conditioner
One product I have to use daily is the Moroccan oil leave-in Conditioner. This makes all the difference in my hair. It helps control frizzy, detangles and adds some shine to my hair.
Style serum
On days I style my hair, I like to finish the look with The Moroccan oil hair serum to smooth out the flyaways and leave my hair feeling soft and silky. This serum is perfect for it, and it’s compact.
Mascara
I love a good mascara; it completes the look. I have fallen in love with how the ILIA—Fullest Volumizing Mascara adds just the perfect volume to my lashes. Pair this mascara with a primer, and you will look stunning. It gives fake lashes without the cost.
Eyeshadow
The Kaja Bento is a small, compact eyeshadow palette it is perfect for light makeup. It has 3 shades, and there are multiple palettes to choose from.
Contouring
Depending on my mood when I am packing, I have 2 go-tos that I like. I have the Kaja 3-1 , which includes a highlight, bronzer, and blush, or I bring my Fenty Beauty Contour and highlighter match Stix. Both are easy to transport and are space savers.
Perfume
I am a massive fan of Replica by Maison Margiela. I love ” Beach Walk” for the summer months. It’s a perfect summer scent. The travel spray is the ideal size for any luggage.
Lip Balm
I like to have a neutral lip color that I can add on top of a lip liner. I like dressing it up and having a more casual look. This lip balm is perfect for that. It is velvety smooth and has a slight simmer.
