Simple citrus dressing to spruce up your summer salad game.
- 1 lemon squeezed
- 1 orange squeezed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic,grated
- 2 tbsp honey
- Dash of salt and pepper
- Optional 1/2 tsp turmeric, zest from orange
In a mason jar or a salad dressing bottle add your salt, pepper, turmeric, honey and garlic. Stir or whisk till combined. Depending on the honey you use, you might want to heat it a touch so it stirs. Once combined juice your lemon and orange add to mix and then top of with the olive oil. Cover with a lid and shake. Place in fridge til ready to serve.
Micro greens and pea shoots salads are becoming more popular. A simple salad I enjoy with this dressing is a bed of pea sprouts topped with this citrus dressing and fresh grated parmigiana cheese. Add a protein of choice if desired.

- Optional Pitch of tumeric, zest of orange
